(1) A company having a share capital way, if so authorized b. its articles, cause to be kept in the United Kingdom or in any Colony a branch register of naabere resident in the United Kingdom or that Colony as the onse may be (in this Ordinance called a branch register")
(2) The company shall give to the registrar notice of the situation of the office where any branch register is kept, and of any change in its situation, and of the disao tinuance of the office in the
event of ita being discontinued.
(3) Fer the purpose of the provisions of this Crimnos re-
lating to branab registern the term United Kingdom seana Great Britain and Ireland and the term Colony means any part of His Majesty's Dominions (other than the Colony of the Straits settlements and in-
cludes British India and British #rotectorates.

(1) A branch register shall for all purposes be deemed to be part of the Company's register of members (in this and the next follow❤
in section smiled the principal register ).
(2) It shall be kept in the same manner in which the principal
register is by this ordinance required to be kept, except that the
advertisement before closing the register sall be inserted in some
newspaper siroulating in the district wherein the branch register is
kept.
(3) The company shall transmit to its registered office a
oapy of every entry in its brusch register as soon as may be after the
entry is made, and shall cause to be kept at its registered off108,
duly fentered up from time to time, a duplicate of its bra:oh register
and the duplicate shall for all the purposes of this ordinance be
deemed to be part of the principal register,
(4) Subject to the provisions of this section with respect
to the duplicate register, the simres registered in a branch register
